Venus and Mercury at Sunset

cerculdestele.blogspot.com Venus is very bright, you can spot it easily either after sunset or before sunrise. Mercury is a difficult planet to observe, due to its proximity to the Sun. Few people have actually seen Mercury. It is even said that Copernicus' greatest regret was never seeing Mercury in the sky during his lifetime. View is very similar to the one in my 15x70 Celestron SkyMaster binoculars. Filmed in Campeni, Romania with a JVC Everio camcorder (35x optical).
